Gaplastovian State Symbols

Gaplastovia’s flag and emblem are two of the most prominent Gaplastovian state symbols.

State Flag

The state flag, officially known as the Standard of Gaplastovia, serves as Gaplastovia’s state symbol when a banner-like or rectangular presentation is appropriate. It also functions as the naval ensign and is displayed on national and commercial vessels.

State Emblem

The state emblem, officially known as the Star of Gaplastovia, represents Gaplastovia in formal iconographic contexts, and is depicted on the state flag. The design was taken from the state seal of the Federated States of Gapla, designed in 2023.

The State Anthem

The state anthem is a piece of music that represents Gaplastovia.

The state anthem, Gaplastovia, My Home, was composed in 1966 by Willard Jabusch, and represents the State of Gaplastovia throughout the Federated States of Gapla. In 2024, Wyatt Baek’s arrangement, with Gaplan lyrics added, became the state anthem of Gaplastovia. Gaplastovia, My Home — State Anthem of Gaplastovia

Municipalities of Gaplastovia

The state of Gaplastovia is subdivided into two municipalities. Their flags (left) and emblems (right) are shown below.

The flag of the municipality of New Gaplastovia, the administrative center of the State of Gaplastovia, is identical to the Standard of Gaplastovia.
The emblem of the municipality of New Gaplastovia, the administrative center of the State of Gaplastovia, is identical to the emblem of the State of Gaplastovia.

From north to south, the territories of the municipalities of New Gaplastovia and Elemental, respectively, are subdivided into halves by latitude. This is a temporary arrangement prior to settlement, where borders between municipalities will be drawn based on the settlements and natural landmarks in Gaplastovia.
